Handmade ceramics in Hungary
Unique ceramics - Indoor and outdoor pieces
In the design process, new and new forms emerge; every fired vessel differs from the ones before it. The firing temperature of the clay affects how the piece can be used. Ceramics fired at high temperatures are frost‑resistant. Not all clay bodies are suitable for high‑fire temperatures.
Tableware - Crockeries
The cups, mugs, small bowls, and plates intended for coffee and dining are fired at high temperature, at a minimum of 1200 °C. Every piece is finished with a safe, non-toxic glaze.
Sustainability
The raw clay and the material from any flawed pieces set aside during the making process are always reused. The various leftover clays - following the appropriate ceramic‑industry rules, of course - can also be mixed together. For large pieces, I very often knead together clays of different colours but identical properties; this method can create remarkably interesting effects.
Quality
